Description
Balsam Point Workshop Birch Shaker Pegs are the classic tenonstyle peg, turned from solid birch hardwood for a strong, smooth, consistent hold. Birchs tight, even grain resists denting and splitting under the weight of coats, bags, and everyday use. Installation uses the traditional tenon method: drill a 1/2inch hole, apply wood glue, and press the tenon into place for a permanent, a solid joint that wont work loose. The standard sizing fits predrilled shaker peg rails and matches common existing pegs, making these an easy choice for a new build, a repair, or expanding a rack you already own. The pegs arrive unfinished and sanded smooth, ready to accept paint, stain, oil, or a clear coat with no additional prep. Finish them to match your existing trim and furniture, or seal the natural birch grain for a clean farmhouse or classic Shaker look. Common uses include entryway and mudroom coat racks, guitar and instrument wall hangers, hat and bag displays, bathroom towel and robe hooks, kitchen rails, and custom woodworking projects.
