Description
A stack of folding chairs leaning in the corner of a garage is a standing appointment: someone opens the door wrong, the stack leans a little further, and one day the whole pile is on the floor. This tworack set gives the chairs a wall of their own. Each rack carries hooks that run 12.2 inches deep, which is the part that matters for chairs: folding chairs lawn, beach, camping or patio stack and stay on one rail instead of teetering in a corner. When you need one, you take one off the front and the rest stay put. The rails are industrialgrade steel with a powder coated finish, so a season in an unheated garage does not turn into rust. The numbers are worth knowing before mounting: the tworack set is rated for 240 pounds. That covers a stack of chairs with room to spare, or a ladder, or a rail of tools the hooks do not care what hangs from them, only what it weighs. That is the second life of this rack. In summer it holds the camping chairs; in October the same hooks take the rake, the shovel and the broom. A step ladder, an extension cord, the yard tools that have nowhere to go between seasons all of it ends up on the wall instead of the floor. Mounting takes a drill, a level and the 6 included screws; the mounting holes sit 15 inches apart, driven into wall studs or solid wood for the full rating. Put both on the same wall to build one long storage run, or split them between the garage and the shed. Mark the holes, drive the screws, and the floor is yours again. Two racks, six screws, and a wall that finally does some of the work.
